Going the Extra Mile: StrikeZone Maps

In addition to creating the wayfinding posters and handouts for the Hingham Library, we offered these StrikeZone maps.

The StrikeZone maps are a tool for library staff, defining where to put flyers, bookmarks, rack cards, permanent and emergency signage, posters, etc.

ExtraMile Design created these StrikeZone maps as a visual guide for the Hingham Library staff, suggesting the best location in the library for different kinds of information.

We also assisted the library in acquiring permanent holders for materials, placing them in the most useful locations.

This helps visitors to the library, because notices and announcements are consistently put where they can be seen.

This helps library staff, too, because it takes the worry out of finding the best place for notices and makes the job of communicating with library visitors easier.
